The EuroMillions Superdraws are some of the most
anticipated events for lottery fans across Europe and the UK. The Superdraws happen a
few times a year to celebrate an anniversary or a special event.
Superdraw tickets
are purchased in the same way that standard EuroMillions tickets are, with
players selecting five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars from 1 to
11. In the
event there is no match for the 5 main numbers and 2 lucky stars, the jackpot
will rollover to the next eye-watering amount. Superdraws usually boost the EuroMillions jackpot and
attract crowds of lotto players hoping to have their shot at the
record-breaking payouts.
We have seen 14 Superdraws since 2007. We had one
Superdraw earlier this summer (June 2014) rescheduled to October 2014 when it was upstaged by the
regular EuroMillions jackpot which rollover 9 consecutive times, reaching
more than £107,000,000.
